The center is a voluntary organization registered for rural development of Andhra Pradesh with the group members in co-ordination of Mr. Praveen Reddy Gottimukkula and Raji Reddy Vangapelli in the year 2011.

The registration Number of the organization is 354/2011 Date: 02/Aug/2011, Place Karimnagar.

The organization has established its Training centre with the help of Vishnu Vardhan Reddy Gudi. VKR Foundation has Training Centre with 80 automatic power operated Sewing Machines and other Equipments to train about 160 candidates per month.

Infrastructural facilities

The training centre is working in a building of about 2200 sq feet attached with sufficient place for accommodation to house the Trainees with watch and ward. Separate room for classes for theory and office available. The training centre is very close to the main road and fully secured for girls to stay. Police station and Hospital is very close for emergencies. First aid kit, safety measures are followed. Food is cooked in the premises and maintain hygienic. Water and other civic amenities are available to meet the requirements of the trainees.

Our Goals

  • VKR Foundation has a target to get train and place 1000 employees per year in different apparel industries.
  • VKR Foundation has aim to establish one garment industry at Karimnagar in the year 2017
  • VKR Foundation has a goal to visit every village in Karimnagar district to mobilize people.
  • VKR Foundation has plane to start free computer and driving training in the year 2018.
  • Designed and developed a curriculum which is in accord with the requirements of the industry in terms of technical as well as soft skills. The curriculum is designed to impart specific skills required in handling various motions utilized in the industry operations.
  • A team of competent trainers who can train the candidates and shape up their ability according to the needs of the industry.
  • Effective teaching aids and methodologies and a conducive learning environment in order to build up a strong skill set.
  • Standardized training modules in the form of board, paper, fabric and machine exercises to ensure consistent performance of all the trainees.

Apart from assisting the BPL population, the project targets to narrow the skill gap present in the industry between abundantly available labor and required skill sets. Trained sewing operators would help achieving high rates of efficiency in a shorter time frame resulting into reduced costs.

VKR FOUNDATION did many Programmes with State &Central Government-We did trainings from MORD, MEPMA & MOT through Wazir advisors From 2012 to till now we have trained rural bpl 2389 youth Men & women people and placed them in companies like Shahi Exports, Roja Garments, Sri Vindya Garments, Sri Sai Vinaya Garments, Shankar Garments, Thirumala Garments, S.M Garments, Mona Tailors & Garments, Sri Krishna Garments etc.
